Neil Diamond and a Variety Show!

Thursday Jim and I went to see Neil Diamond at the Hollywood Bowl. It was awesome! Neil sang for 2 1/2 hours without any intermission or opening act, pretty awesome for 67 years old. We had a blast!

Jim and Lynette stayed the weekend and Friday the kids went to Target to each pick out a toy. Seth got a magic set, Harrison got a red car, Sam a pirate outfit, Ethan some Thomas sand toys and William got a Halloween outfit that
has a mummy on it that says "I Love Mummy"

Friday night we had a magic show by Seth. Harrison was his lovely assistant. Seth demonstrated how to twist your arm 360 degrees inside a cardboard box. It was pretty crazy, we were all amazed and in shock, he walked away without any damage to his arm! Unbelievable!

Harrison gave a wonderful lecture series about what happens when two cars (a red one and a yellow one) intersect in the air, the blow up! He started his lecture series off with a rousing "Ladies and Gentlemen", we were hooked from then on and it was worth it, very informative!

Sam then put on a interpretative pirate dance for us. It also was very up and coming.
He swished and swooshed his sword and pirate hook in the air and we all cried out for more.

Ethan was so excited and impressed with the show he was on the edge of his high chair.

William slept through the show, however the next day he was awake and was ready for an encore!

"Turn on your heart light, let it shine wherever you go, ..." that's all I remember. You really know how to party, Amanda!

love the part about the interpretive pirate dance...marcus used to chasse (gallop) all around the house but b/c i used the ballet term it got banished by his dad! so at his parent teacher conference yesterday when they said he needed practice galloping i quickly defended him saying that he could in fact do it quite well but that any "ballerino" type moves had been banished from his repetoire!

your boys are all so so cute. i can't believe what personality william has for such a young baby. only truly happy kids could produce such smiles. keep up the good work!

Your flowers for the Reunion turned out very cute.
I love that you blessed William at home. We are thinking of doing the same with Harlyn, and having some family there.
Harrisons varienty show looked awesome. He should do it for the Primary! It reminds me of this home video I watched of Kurt and Jake putting on a magic show for their family. They were very talented too! ha ha & Kurt had some Awesome dance moves.
