Thanksgiving this year was wonderful! We drove to Utah and spent a week with Ben's family. Ben's family is wonderful and I always feel so blessed to be apart of their lives. We had so many people able to come and celebrate with us this year. We missed Becky and Emily, but hopefully next time they can come. We stayed at Sara and Bryan's house and had Thanksgiving dinner at Julie's.

We stayed at Sara and Bryan's house and had Thanksgiving dinner at Julie's.

I loved being a Julie's the day before Thanksgiving and cooking all day, we made a million pies, I think we had something like 35 pies. We made them all gluten free and dairy and that was ruined when I made a crumb topping for the apple pies with regular flour. Sorry Moody's. We still had 3 gluten free/wheat free pies for them so it wasnt all bad.

We had 4 turkey's, 1 ham and prime rib. There were 42 people (however I think there might of been more?)
Cousins were abundant and Harrison took advantage of every moment to spend with them. We barely saw him. William won everyone over with his big toothy grin and his lover eyes. Aunt Julie and Aunt Sara couldnt put him down and he had them wrapped around his little finger. Sam wasnt feeling so well. A case of pneumonia kept him from enjoying cousins and playing. When we returned home Sam was admitted to the hospital for a few days to clear up his pneumonia. The family was so loving, helpful and kind with helping Sam feel better, what a blessing.

Ben spent every moment with his brothers and sisters and really enjoyed the time. Dart gun wars, Rock Band, Uncle Baseball, visiting and enjoying his family was the highlight of the trip.

We had so much fun and honestly wish we could do this every year. Its a blast. I got to spend Tuesday night with my sisters and their families. I love their little families and love my sisters so much. I wish I had more time with them while I was there. Ben and I had lots of things planned to do, but with Sam's pneumonia it all got tossed out the window, which is no big deal, we'll be back this summer.
In my family every Thanksgiving we sit at the table and say what we are thankful for.
I am thankful for my husband. He is wonderful and he treats me like a queen and loves our children so much. I couldnt ask for anything more and he makes my life so wonderful and enriched.
I am thankful for my kids and the opportunity to be there mom. I love them dearly and enjoy every moment with them.
I am thankful for the gospel and all the peace, joy, happiness and knowledge it brings to our lives.I am thankful for the role that our Heavenly Father plays in our lives. We are so blessed and I know it is because of Him.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving we sure did
Funny quotes from the weekend:
Joey: (I was sleeping in Joey's bed) Aunt Amanda I tried really hard not to get boogers on my sheets
Kate: Baby William needs goldfish crackers (Kate carries her crackers in her pretend bakeware)
Kate: Asking me "Who are your brothers?" (Sam, Harrison, William) "Who's your dad?" (Ben)
Kate asking the young RM at Julie's house "How did you get here, your Mom and Dad drive you?" "Do you live with your Mom and Dad?" "Do you share a room?"
Ok, so pretty much everything Kate said was hillarious!
